Graduating from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 1994, Mr Camprodon moved to the UK in 1998 to pursue surgical training, earning a Master’s Degree in Surgical Sciences (MSc) and completing a post-CCT fellowship in Bariatric and Anti-Reflux Surgery. In 2019, he received a PhD in Small Bowel Transplant Immunology for groundbreaking research in collaboration with the University of Sheffield, King’s College London, and his alma mater. Mr Camprodon received two prestigious international awards for his laboratory-based research in Small Bowel Transplant Immunology at the renowned International Small Bowel Transplant Symposium (ISBTS), part of The Transplantation Society (TTS), held in Washington in 2011 and Oxford in 2013.
