Pooja holds a BSc in Dietetics from Coventry University, where she also lectured, is HCPC-registered, and is a member of both the BDA and Nutrition Society. Pooja previously worked at the renowned Ashford and St. Peter’s NHS Foundation Trust. Her clinical expertise includes gastroenterology (including FODMAPs), weight management, and providing dietary advice for complex medical and surgical conditions.
Pooja is actively engaged in research and is due to sit her PhD viva at Leeds Beckett University this coming May. Her research has been published in journals such as Diabetic Medicine, BMJ Open, and Clinical Obesity. She has presented her findings at international conferences and contributed to publications like CN Magazine and Network Health Digest.
She has also appeared on BBC Asian Network to discuss nutrition and public health topics. Dedicated to improving patient care, Pooja emphasises effective communication, evidence-based practice, and tailored nutritional advice to support optimal surgical outcomes.
